Our Wines
As wine specialists to the licensed trade, our search is for the very best wines from around the world that offer the finest quality in relation to price. We endeavour to offer a level of exclusivity to our customers and carry many wines under different brand names to ensure a point of difference from neighbouring venues.
We have a rigid selection process whereby every wine is assessed on a regular basis and must meet with the approval of our tasting panel.
Our wines and brands are selected specifically with our customers in mind and their requirements for price, quality, range and presentation.
None of our wines will appear in multiple retail stores and because we have exclusive territorial rights we have control of their distribution.
We have long-standing relationships with our suppliers and wine producers all of whom have a reliable and ethical track record.
Le Argille, Cabernet di Cabernet
Super serious juice. An intense ruby red colour with garnet highlights, aromas of blueberry, blackberry and wild strawberries lead onto hints of plum, black cherries and vanilla with light nuances of tobacco, dark chocolate and green pepper. Aged for two years in concrete barrels. Contained in a cement covered bottle.
Origine Bianco IGT Terre Siciliane
We are all used to a choice between red, white and rosé, but there’s a fourth colour increasingly being talked about in the world of wine – orange. This doesn’t mean wines made from citrus fruit, but white wines that are much deeper in colour than usual, ranging from pale amber to deep orange.
Picpoul de Pinet Domaine Foncastel
Crisp and dry. Citrus aromas of grapefruit and lemon with a floral hint. Melon and peach on the palate with an intense minerality.
Verum Chardonnay
Pure Chardonnay from a family producer in the Valle de Rio Negro, Patagonia. Ten percent barrel fermenting gives a lovely fresh, creamy texture with citrus and orchard fruits and a hint of spice.
La Fornarina Prosecco Rose DOC
Aromas of bright citrus, white flowers, and perfumes of strawberries and cherries. Dry on the palate, its delicate flavours are lifted by joyful bubbles and carried to a delightfully fruity and lingering finish.
